this is one of the first children’s songs i ever wrote. i wrote it one day at bob & lou’s when we lived here before or when we came for passover. i can’t be sure, but i do remember that the kids put on a performance. eva, the girl cousin, and marshall, the boy cousin, were no older than 7 & 3, respectively, when i wrote this. that also means that the twins were no more than 18 months old. i’m sure they were a big help. now don’t go thinking i did this alone. eva helped with the words and she definitely helped with the dance they did for the family show. (i will not be performing said dance in the video.)
it’s short & sweet. here it is, “bock, bock, chicken.”

awesome.
I watched this with my two year, and she loved it! You had her cracking up by the end of the video.
Of course I had to listen to a song about chickens. I wasnt disapopinted. My husband listened too and I explained you are in my quilting bee. He said “Oh, you have something in common with your quilting friends”. I’m not sure what he thought that was but nice to know.
